Thanksgiving is a holiday thats history is based on a community gathering and eating together.  For those of you who know me you know that this is a favorite holiday of mine.  Sharing time with family, enjoying my wife’s incredible cooking skills, and being reminded of to take note of my blessings and be grateful for all that we have. 

            Often, I say I have two families; the one God blessed me with around the table at Thanksgiving, and my fair family that I work with most of the year.  This year I feel particularly blessed including all the members of the NCAOAF, from fairs, carnivals, and businesses that we are associated with.  We have had a couple of challenging years and each of you have brought so much to our table to keep agricultural fairs alive and well in this state.  This year as I count my blessings, please know how grateful I am for you and your loved ones that support you during all the hours that you spend making fairs great in North Carolina. I am looking forward to gathering with you again around the table at our annual convention in January.   Until then please know, from the bottom of my heart, I would like to wish each and every one of you a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
